As the name suggests, inbound call center is a center that caters to calls made by customers to the call center. However, there are instances that the two can be combined. 1. Familiarize the product or service that you are selling.

This tip can be considered a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for every company that deals with sales. When it comes to call centers, its importance should not be overlooked. Unless you are familiar with the products or services that you are marketing, you cannot hope to persuade the callers to patronize that product or services. Your thorough understanding of the product including its negative side is essential. Ensure that you know the product thoroughly before you sell it.

2. Learn to know when is the right time to sell.

This factor is equally indispensable with knowing the product you are selling. Remember that clients call you to inquire or report about malfunction and not to buy product. Therefore, you should learn when to sell the product. Learning to recognize when is the right time to sell will help you handle irate clients avoid irritating them. This ability can only be learned after you have gained ample experience in the BPO industry.

3. Identify what the clients want

You cannot just promote your product to the caller the moment you answer the call. Doing so will put off the caller immediately, hampering your opportunity of promoting your product and selling it.

If you will put the three simple tips to use, it won\'t be long before you will be promoted to a higher position.
