If you enjoy interacting with other people on the Internet social networking is a good way to promote things. This doesn't cost you much in the way of advertising dollars, but it will take up some of your time.

You can also purchase inexpensive ads and target specific markets. Facebook Ads is a good place to start with this.

2. Write and submit articles. Article marketing continues to be one of my personal primary advertising strategies. In my case I like to write and submit articles so this strategy works well.

If you don't enjoy writing, are not or are not particularly good at it, you can outsource this to an article writer. There are plenty of sources online to find inexpensive article writers.

Writing and submitting articles is a fast way to develop backlinks. You can also promote any webpage you want in the resource box and drive traffic to it using article marketing.

4. Blog and bookmark. I like to take my articles and post them on my blog. Try and do this before they go out to the article directories so when search engines spider your blog you get credit for fresh content.

Also bookmark your blog post using a service such as OnlyWire. This is a good way to develop backlinks and get the search engines spidering your blog more regularly.
