Vellum is a very thin, opaque version of parchment. Vellum has been used by home bakers to separate layers of baked goods when shipping cookies or crackers. It works well as a transfer paper with a computer generated transfer or a hand drawn design with a transfer pencil. This technique is used to create T-Shirt transfers and embroidery transfer patterns.
