Winning your child custody could be a fierce battle. However, you deserve the rights to protect your child for the entire life. Winning the battle is your first step. Here are a few ideas regardless whether you live in Maryland or somewhere else.

1. Always consider the best interest of your child. Take the time to think about what's the best arrangement for your child. What you can offer to take care of your child physically and mentally: the life style, where to go to school, friends your child already has. This is critical because the family court in Maryland or any other states will take your child's best interest as the #1 factor when making a child custody decision.

2. Prove your financial capability. Your ability to support your child financially is very important for the court to make a child custody decision. Prepare the documents to prove your source of income, your tax payment etc. and bring them to the hearing. Your payment stub or a reference letter from your employer is also helpful.

3. Keep a stable residence. If you have moved out and are doing a rental, make sure that you don't move often. This is extremely important to show a Maryland child custody court that you can offer a stable environment for your child so that he or she can go to the same school and make friends. Bring proof when going to the court, such as a lease or rental contract from your landlord.

4. Minimize the required adjustment for your child. Try to provide a similar living environment for your child. If you are moving out of Maryland, changing job, or getting married again , your child will need to adjust to all the changes, which could be challenging for him or her. These are the impacts the court will consider seriously.

5. Speak Truthfully . Tell the court why you really want the child custody and what you can do to offer your child a better living style and better education. Tell the court what you did for your child and the close relationship you have with your child.
6. Deal with child bribery. Your ex might have brain-washed your child. In the court, your child may be against you. What can you do ? Click the link below to get help from the expert now...
