Once again, did you and your boyfriend have a quarrel? What was the depth of the argument, is it something that can be solved with a little common sense, or is it really heavy, as in catching him with another woman?
Fight with Boyfriend Tip #1
What kind of fight did you have is the first consideration. Simple things require only simple remedies. If he's constantly late, find out why. If he's cheating on you or has stolen money from you, it's probably a good idea to get out of the relationship. Most couples have squabbles. It's understandable that two different personalities will disagree on some things and "get into it" once in a while.
Don't allow yourself to be mentally or physically abused, if that's happening you should end the relationship - period. There could be some emotional or mental problems that you won't be able to resolve. If your boyfriend is hurting you, staying in the relationship isn't going to help him get better.
Arguments can sometimes take on a life of their own, don't let that happen as that could stop the relationship cold. You've had a fight with your boyfriend and don't know what to do next.
Fight with Boyfriend Tip #2
Calmer heads will prevail. After an argument, you'll both need to cool down. Split for a while. Take a walk. Take a nice, long hot bath. You're both upset, trying to talk things out when you are, is not going to do either of you any good.
Fight with Boyfriend Tip #3
Try to piece together the reasons for the argument. Were your points of conflict unreasonable? Did you argue over something that's been bugging you both for awhile? Try to look at the situation from your boyfriend's point of view. Be calm before you start turning the reason for the argument over in your mind. Did you make a mistake? Did you perhaps leap too quickly?
Fight with Boyfriend Tip #4
Your fourth move should be to talk to him later in a calm and sober manner. First, let him tell his side of the argument and you follow up, in a very calm way, your side of the disagreement. Then start mulling over a solution to the quandary. For instance, if lateness is a problem, perhaps he needs to start wearing a watch. Or you could call him an hour before the date to help him to remember. Don't forget that you're both human, you're not perfect, you can make mistakes. Any problem can be resolved, just do some soul-searching.
Got a solution? Good. Now forgive and forget and go do something you both enjoy. A row now and then in a relationship is not unusual, just remember that it shouldn't be the biggest thing in your relationship.
Fighting and finding a mutually acceptable resolution can put some character into a relationship. Don't let a fight ruin your relationship. Learn from it and learn how to forgive each other.
