One of the best places in the world to drive a car has to be the United States. Many people have claimed that the design of the States is one that takes the driver into complete consideration. The roads are fantastic and fuel prices tend to be cheaper than Europe. It is little wonder than that so many visitors to the US are interested in renting a car. If you haven't enough good reasons already then here are a few more to convince you of the wisdom of renting a vehicle during your trip.

- Freedom is a big part of the experience of driving in the US and with your own car you will be able to take advantage of this. Waiting around for busses and trains and having your life determined by timetables isn't so much fun, but when you drive you are free of all this.
- When you drive you see a different side of a country and this is certainly true in the US. You are inside your car instead of inside a tour bus and so you don't feel so much like a tourist. When you drive around you are likely to come across wonderful sights and experiences that you would otherwise have missed.
So if you are taking a trip to the US, you really should consider renting a car.
