I am a full-time Internet marketer that has a tough time keeping up with all of the changes regarding Internet marketing. Google Plus, Facebook, SEO, article marketing, email marketing, affiliate marketing, ezines, blogging, Google Places, Bing local, and so on.

Ouch!

My head starts spinning everytime I open my email inbox every morning. It is full of emails proclaiming the next greatest thing I must know about if I expect to succeed. I seriously have had to take a step back today and consider just what I am doing.

More specifically what is the best way to advertise on the Internet right now?

I've always been partial to article marketing and SEO in the past. I have been able to incorporate blogging and video marketing into that as well, to develop a large number of backlinks and some excellent free traffic.

In reality it isn't really free because I have to spend a lot of time keeping up to date on this. Even though I outsource some of my business it still takes my time on a daily basis.

If my head was a hard drive it would be full right now. To be honest with you I'm almost too tired to consider what's going to be the next must learn way to advertise to make money online.

I guess we cannot ignore Google Plus and Google Plus One. There was no way that Google was going to sit by and let Facebook take them over as the number one source of Internet traffic.

In a very short period of time Google plus now has over 10 million members to their new social network. I just watched a series of videos on exactly how all of this is going to work.

It all makes sense, and in my mind this is something worth getting on top of right now. If Google can combine social networking with their already popular search engine traffic the results could be unbelievable for all of us.

Here's my advice to you if you're trying to figure out what's the best way to advertise on the Internet.

You must figure out a least one or two meaningful forms of Internet traffic. Chances are these are going to be based on how much time you have to invest, and how much money you have to spend.

You can always outsource things such as article marketing and blogging. This doesn't have to cost a lot of money and you can find people to do things for you at websites such as Fiverr.com and Easy Outsource.

If you have more time and money are going to have to do things yourself. I suggest that you spend a certain amount of hours every week on traffic generation.

This may mean learning some of the skills before you can implement them. Then you should focus 100% on making those work for you. Do not let yourself get sidetracked by the next greatest thing.
